Working location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid/3 days week onsite)

This is an opportunity to be an integral part of an evolving Enterprise Architecture practice that delivers the most efficient and effective combination of technology, processes, data, and applications to enable Rolls-Royce to execute its vision, values, and strategy.
In this role you will be part of a global Enterprise Architecture team and responsible for the strategic direction of the Americas region, to ensure that it supports our next generation digital products and accelerates our Digital and IT capabilities. You’ll be defining our forward-looking strategy and roadmaps that will shape the future of our business. We’ll actively support your development and your path to professional accreditation, as well as offering flexible working.

What you will be doing
- Enterprise architects (EAs) collaborate with business leaders to align technology strategies with organizational goal
- Road mapping and Planning: EAs collaborate on developing roadmaps that outline the transformation journey, ensuring that projects and changes are sequenced according to business priorities
- Creation and ownership of the technology strategy for the Americas region, aligned with global architectural standards and principles
- CMMS Control experience – SC (system and communication protection) – Owner
- SI (system & Information integrity), IA (Identification and Authentication), RA (Risk Assessment), IR (Incident Response), AC (Access Control) - Consulted/Informed
- Technical leadership for Architecture in the Americas, acting as the central point of contact for architectural matters to ensure consistency and co-ordination across the region.
- Definition and communication of capable Reference Architectures and other Architecture Building Blocks (ABB) for use in the design and delivery of solutions.
- Liaison with other internal Rolls-Royce teams and stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture, Digital & IT Product Teams, and IT Security, as well as outsourced service providers to enable the execution of the strategy.
- Identification of new technologies and products for exploitation across the enterprise, and opportunities for optimization
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in IT Architecture, OR
- Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in IT Architecture, OR
- JD/PhD, with 3 years of experience in IT Architecture
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- 10+ years IT Architecture experience with a proven track record in enterprise architecture
- Extensive experience in working with compliance frameworks and standards such as CMMC, NIST800-171, and NIST800-53
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven track record of building and maturing architectural expertise.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex business scenarios across applications, data and infrastructure
